Free bets

Free bets are promotional offers that allow players to place a wager without using their deposited funds. While most suppliers offer first-time user bonuses, some may require players to engage with the game before granting a free bet.

Hub88's Operator Backoffice enables the creation and management of individual rewards and campaigns, which can comprise multiple rewards.

Rewards

In online casinos, rewards are incentives such as cash bonuses, free spins, or loyalty points, aimed at enhancing player engagement and loyalty. They are often linked to gameplay activity or milestones.

Adding a reward

To add a new reward, navigate to the Rewards tab in the Operator Backoffice.

  1. Click on the “+ Add new reward” button in the top right-hand corner.

  2. A pop-up will appear, allowing you to fill in information about the reward:

    1. Campaign: Tie the reward to an existing campaign. Campaigns are displayed by their unique IDs (UUID), bet count, and bet value. For a campaign to appear in the list, it must be created first. Read how to do it here.

    2. Start date and time: Use the date picker functionality by clicking the calendar icon. The start date cannot be in the past. The reward will not be available for the user before this date and time.

    3. End date and time: Use the date picker functionality by clicking the calendar icon. The end date cannot be in the past, nor can it be before the start date.

  3. Click “Submit” to create the reward. The reward will be created with the status “New”.

Analysing rewards

All rewards are displayed in a table format, which is customisable based on your needs. You can manipulate the table columns by clicking the grid view button, located next to the “+ Add new reward” button, and selecting the columns you wish to display.

In the Rewards Overview table, some rewards are listed with a column Prepaid UUID only, while others include both a Prepaid UUID and a Discipline.

A Discipline defines the specific sport or game, which the free bets are limited to. For example, if an operator runs a campaign that grants 10 free spins under the discipline "Baseball", those spins can be used exclusively within that game.

Currently, Discipline is only available for "Sports Betting", from Betsy.

Statuses

Each reward is assigned a status, depending on its state, as follows:

Status
Description

New

Newly created reward.

Active

Start date has passed, the reward is active for the user.

Finished

Reward has been used, and isn't active any longer for the user.

Expired

End date has passed, the reward is not active.

Cancelled

The reward has been cancelled.

Failed

Reward's use or creation has failed.

Downloading the table

You can download the full table view, including all columns, by clicking the three-dot menu and selecting “Download”. The download should begin automatically.

Reward segments

You can save filtered views of the Rewards' dashboard as a custom segment, which will then be available in the left-hand side panel.

Cancelling a reward

To cancel any reward, click the “X” icon in the “Action” column.

Campaigns

In online gaming, campaigns are promotional events aimed at engaging players by offering rewards. Within the Operator Backoffice, you can create campaigns that consist of multiple rewards. These can be configured and managed to enhance player retention and activity.

Adding a campaign

To add a new campaign, navigate to the Campaign tab in the Operator Backoffice.

  1. Click on the “+ Add new campaign” button in the top right-hand corner.

  2. A pop-up will appear, allowing you to fill in information about the campaign:

    2. Start date and time: Use the date picker functionality by clicking the calendar icon. The start date cannot be in the past. The campaign will not be available for the user before this date and time.

  3. Click “Submit” to create the campaign.

Managing campaigns

The information regarding campaigns is presented in a table format, you are able to easily view details about all available campaigns and their status. The table includes the following information for each campaign:

  • Campaign UUID

  • Prepaid UUID

  • Bet Count X Bet Value

  • Game Name and Supplier

  • Start and End Dates

  • Creation Date

  • Operator and Site

  • Status

You can search for a specific campaign by its name, UUID, or prepaid UUID. Additionally, the table can be filtered by Supplier, games, operators, currencies, and status (active or expired).

Customising campaign's data view

The table is interactive, allowing you to customise the view to suit your business needs. You can choose filters and adjust which columns are displayed via the grid menu button, located next to the “+ Add new campaign” button. The adjusted table can be saved as a custom Segment, allowing you to easily access the preferred information.

To download the full campaigns table, click the three-dot menu.

Segments are saved at the user level, not at the account level. Each user needs to create their own custom segment views.
