Promo Launcher

Promo Launcher in the Operator Zone lets Operators propose personalised promotions directly to Suppliers in the Hub88 network. Instead of coordinating monthly promotion plans over spreadsheets and email, you can build a full batch of promotion requests in HubConnect, submit them to suppliers, and track every request from submission to going live.

In the Promo Launcher flow, Operators can:

  • Build promotion requests in bulk using an editable table, a CSV upload, or a previous submission.

  • Submit requests directly to suppliers for review.

  • Track the status of each request under My Promotions.

  • Respond to supplier changes before a promotion is created.

  • Go live automatically when a supplier approves your request, the promotion is created and your brand is opted in without any extra steps.

Creating a Request

You can start a promotion request from several places in Operator Zone:

  • Promotions → Promo Launcher in the sidebar.

  • My Promotions → Requested promotions → Request a promotion.

  • My Products → open a product's detail view → action menu → Request promotion. The request is prefilled with the product context.

  • Upload from saved — start from a previous saved or submitted batch.

  • Upload from CSV — import your promotion plan from a file.

Every request opens as a named request batch. A default name is generated for you in the format {Brand} {Month} {Year} Promotion. If your batch covers multiple brands, the account name is used instead. You can edit the name at any time. Your progress is saved, so you can leave and return to finish a batch later.

Building Your Request

The request workspace is an editable table where each row is one promotion request. Fill in the following fields for every row:

Column
Description

Product

The product (supplier content) the promotion applies to. Must be available to your account.

Games

One or more games, separated by commas. Games must belong to the selected product.

Brands

One or more of your brands, separated by commas.

Promotion name

The name of the promotion.

Promotion type

One of the supported promotion types (see Promotion Types).

Discount type

Percentage or fixed amount.

Discount value

Numeric value matching the selected discount type.

Start date

The date the promotion should go live.

End date

The date the promotion should end. Must be on or after the start date.

To speed up building larger batches, the table supports:

  • Add row, Duplicate row, and Delete row.

  • Set value for all rows in a column, you'll be asked to confirm, as existing values may be replaced.

  • Clear all fields and Delete all rows, both require confirmation.

  • Select rows to choose which requests to submit.

Validation runs directly in the table. Invalid cells are highlighted with an error, and you can correct them inline. A help modal with the expected formats is available in the workspace.

Uploading a CSV

If you plan promotions in a spreadsheet, you can import them directly.

  1. Click Upload from CSV and download the CSV template.

  2. Fill in the template. Use the same columns as the request table, with dates in DD-MM-YYYY format and comma-separated values for multiple games or brands.

  3. Upload the file. A file can contain up to 1000 rows.

  4. Your rows appear in the editable table, and validation runs automatically.

  5. Correct any highlighted errors directly in the table — no need to fix the file and re-upload.

Rows with unknown products, games, or brands, or with ambiguous dates, are flagged for your review rather than imported silently. Only the affected rows are blocked, the rest of your file stays ready to submit.

Reusing a Previous Submission

You can start a new batch from any previous saved or submitted batch — useful for repeating a monthly promotion plan.

  1. Choose Upload from saved when starting a request.

  2. Select the batch you want to reuse. A new editable copy is created; the original stays unchanged.

  3. Update the details as needed. Copied rows with dates in the past fail validation, so make sure to update the dates before submitting.

Submitting Your Requests

Before submitting, make sure that:

  • At least one valid row is selected.

  • All required fields and dates in the selected rows pass validation.

  • You have accepted the terms and conditions.

The submit button shows the number of selected valid promotions. On submission, each selected row becomes an individual promotion request sent to the relevant supplier, and the supplier is notified. Invalid rows stay in your draft so you can fix and submit them later.

Tracking Your Requests

All submitted requests are available under My Promotions → Sent Promotion Requests grouped by product with status counts per group. You can search by promotion name or keyword, filter by product, promotion type, games, date, and status, and download a report.

Each request shows the product and supplier name, status, promotion details, requested offer value, dates, request ID, and submission date in the Table View.

Every request contains information on:

  • Submitted - Your request has been sent to the supplier.

  • Supplier Review - The supplier is reviewing your request.

  • Approved - The supplier approved your request as submitted. The promotion is created, and your brand is automatically opted in.

  • Changes Made - The supplier proposed changes and your confirmation is required.

  • Accepted Changes - You accepted the supplier's changes. The promotion is created, and your brand is automatically opted in.

  • Declined by Supplier - The supplier declined your request. The decline reason is shown on the request.

  • Declined by Operator - You declined the supplier's changes and the request is closed.

When a Supplier Makes Changes

Suppliers can propose changes to your request, for example, a different discount value or date range, before approving it.

  1. You'll be notified in Operator Zone and by email when your confirmation is needed.

  2. Open the request under My Promotions → Sent Promotion Requests. Changed fields are highlighted with an info icon, and a summary shows the original and updated values, along with the supplier's note.

  3. Approve changes to accept the updated terms — the promotion is created, and your brand is opted in automatically.

  4. Decline changes to close the request. No promotion is created.

Changes to the core deal terms (discount value or type, start and end dates, and games)

These discounts always require your confirmation. Supplier-side details such as restricted countries, terms and conditions, technical or positioning requirements, and promotional assets are informational and don't block the promotion.

A request supports one round of supplier changes. If you decline the changes and want different terms, simply create a new request.

After Approval

Once a supplier approves your request (or you accept their changes), Hub88 automatically:

  • Creates the targeted promotion.

  • Opts in your requesting brand.

  • Notifies you that the promotion is ready.

The promotion appears under My Promotions, where you can track it like any other promotion you've joined.

Notifications

You'll receive notifications by email, in the dashboard banner, and in the bell notification centre when:

  • A supplier receives, approves, or declines your request.

  • A supplier makes changes that need your confirmation.

  • You haven't yet responded to supplier changes (reminder).

  • Your brand has been automatically opted in to an approved promotion.

Notifications link directly to the relevant request, and the notification centre lets you filter by read and unread.

FAQ

Can I submit only some rows of my batch? Yes. Select the rows you want to submit, valid selected rows are sent to suppliers, and the rest stay in your draft.

What happens to invalid rows in my CSV? They're imported into the table with row-level errors so you can fix them inline. The rest of the file can be submitted normally.

Can I negotiate terms with a supplier? Each request supports one change cycle: the supplier can propose changes once, and you either accept or decline them. For new terms, create a new request.

Do I need to opt in after my request is approved? No. Approval automatically creates the promotion and opts in your requesting brand.

Can suppliers still create promotions and invite my brand? Yes. The existing supplier-created promotion flow is unchanged, see Promotions.
